NFL playoffs decide matchup for Super Bowl LVI

The NFL playoffs are completed! The Super Bowl LVI matchup is settled. The Cincinnati Bengals will be competing against the Los Angeles Rams in the Super Bowl, Sunday February 13, 2022 at 3:30 pm pacific time taking place at SoFI stadium. 

During the Cincinnati Bengals vs. the Kansas City Chiefs game, the Bengals won the game 27-24 in overtime. The Cincinnati Bengals got the ball back after a throw by Patrick Mahomes, the Chiefs quarterback, was intercepted by the Bengals safety, Jessie Bates, and pulled in by Vonn Bell. The Bengals overcame an 18-point deficit to beat Kansas City. In overtime, Evan McPherson kicked the game-winning field goal. The Bengals will now be going to the SuperBowl for the first time since the 1988 football season.

Meanwhile, the Rams won against the 49ers with a final score of 20-17, also in overtime. In the third quarter, Jimmy Garoppolo, the 49ers quarterback, connected with Kittle for 16 yards in the end zone, giving the 49ers a 17-7 lead. here was 1:46 remaining in the game, Matt Gay’s 30-yard field goal concluded a 13-point fourth quarter for the Los Angeles Rams, giving them a win over the San Francisco 49ers in the NFC Championship game.
