AI will write your job application but take your job

AI, or artificial intelligence, is a rapidly developing technology with new advancements made seemingly every day. However, it is important to remember potential dangers it could bring. By developing too fast, AI is capable of impacting our society in many negative ways. Be it the loss of jobs or AI deep fakes, there is a multitude of reasons why we should be worried about the rapid advancement of artificial intelligence

With the quick advancements continually made to AI, many companies have started using it to replace jobs in countless fields, in attempts to save money wherever they can. Industries like visual effects and marketing as well as customer service have experienced these downsides recently because AI is able to quickly reciprocate their work, at a much lower level of quality for free. With AI becoming more and more advanced it’s likely that this would spread out from the entertainment and advertisement industry in the future. People are right to be concerned about the safety of their jobs particularly with the desire of companies to automate numerous jobs with the use of AI.

Not only do people lose their jobs to Artificial intelligence consumers are affected as well. In these vain attempts to save money customers are starting to receive subpar products or even service. Online support and customer service positions are also starting to be phased out by companies in favor of AI, making it hard for customers to find good help when facing their issues.

Artificial intelligence also is causing many to be worried about students as they continue to take advantage of AI tools. However this has problems alongside students not doing their work. While an advanced tool, ChatGPT is known for giving wrong answers on occasion and is known to pull information from biased sources leading to misinformation and confusion being spread.
