The first rally of the school year took place August 20 starting the day off with a kick. During the rally, four varsity teams including football, dance, volleyball and cheer participated in a game of bubble ball. Teammates knocked each other down and helped each other up, and the crowds laughed and cheered along with them. The rally took place in the quad, and every grade was separated into their own sections. The rally had games, music, cheers and energy. During the rally, both cheer and dance performed.  

That night, Hart had their first football game of the season. The student section of the game was filled with pride. Many students were wearing red, and much cheering, laughter, talking, yelling and stomping could be heard. Varsity lost 20-7 and JV lost 21-14, but Hart continued their cheers for them, unwilling to lose hope, filling them up with encouragement throughout the whole game.
