Dink’s is a small New York style deli in Santa Clarita and opens at 6:30 a.m. sharp every morning. Dink’s is a family owned and operated business that has stood for just over 30 years. 

Dink’s serves breakfast all day, their most famous meals are the Dink’s Crispy french toast (deep fried french toast) and lox on a bagel. The deli has fresh bread, cookies, and 16 different types of bagels every morning. They consistently run out of bagels every day. According to the cashiers, the “cinnamon crunch” and the “everything” are the best of all the bagels. Even the owner has admitted that the crunch bagel is her favorite. 

Anna is the manager of the Dink’s located in Granary square. 

”My favorite part of having the business, besides the perks of the food, is getting to know all the regulars and the employees. It’s a small business so you get to know everyone a bit on a personal level, which is nice,” said Anna.

She estimates 100 regulars eat every day, counting phone orders. But hundreds of people eat at Dink’s every day.

“Slowly over time you build a relationship with them and you learn more about each other, “ Anna said. 

The steady number of regulars make Dink’s an important part of Santa Clarita.

 “Our clientele ranges from young to old and unfortunately we did lose some regulars due to Covid-19. I still can’t believe that I won’t see them again. It puts everything in perspective about what is important,“She says that everyone feels like a family in Dink’s, and everyone is remembered. The community at Dink’s is a positive inviting one. Dink’s welcomes everyone to come and enjoy a meal. That is, until they close at 3:00 p.m.
