Adrian Vargas’s childhood dreams are coming true

Movies and shows are a main component of the entertainment industry and there is a lot that goes into them. Some details may go unnoticed and the effort put into making a shot perfect is what the film industry is known to do. Adrian Vargas is one of these passionate individuals that is interested in diving head first into it.

Raised in Newhall, Adrian Vargas loved going on bike rides, playing video games and watching many films. While going on bike rides, he admired how a camera could capture the views his eyes would see. He would also notice this in the films he would watch.

“I saw a lot of movies when I was younger, especially Marvel movies and I think the directing, acting and cinematography were really good,” Vargas said.

He always admired just how thoroughly thought out every shot was and he wanted to start making his own films. While he didn’t have the equipment to make films, he eventually decided to join the TV production class here at Hart.

”My friend Javier Valencia recommended I take TV production and it went really well,” Vargas said.

Each film would take 2-5 school days to complete according to Vargas. They had to obtain skills to be able to even start filming for Hart TV. Certain shots that the normal person wouldn’t notice when watching a film, they had to learn and master to create films that are of quality.

Filming as a whole has been something Vargas loves, but he would also love to act. With actors he looks up to, he also aspires to be like them. Mark Camel being one alongside Heath Ledger are just two examples. Having both acting and voicing gigs, Vargas admires their work and talent.

Vargas also has a plan to eventually reaching the dream of his:

“I’m going to apply to Csun [because] they have really good filming classes and it’s close by. I’m actually in the applying process for that right now!” Vargas said.

He hopes to inspire others to follow their dreams and give them a reminder that anything is possible. As he continues to build up his skills he is optimistic that he will achieve what he has loved to do as a little kid.
