Santa Clarita welcomes a new resturaunt: Burnin’ Mouth

Nestled conveniently at 24201 West Valencia Blvd, Burnin’ Mouth is the latest addition to Santa Clarita’s vibrant culinary landscape. Burnin’ Mouth originally burst onto the scene in January 2021 at the Oxnard collections outlets and has rapidly expanded, boasting an impressive 15+ locations under its franchise.

The restaurant’s modus operandi involves thorough preparation, with chicken expertly cut and crafted into a variety of delectable dishes. From Katsu to sandwiches and strips, Burnin’ Mouth’s menu presents a diverse array of options. In addition to their signature chicken items, some locations also offer tantalizing options like beef noodles and the ever-popular Korean corn dogs. Dayvid, the owner of the Valencia location, emphasized that each location has the autonomy to cater to the unique tastes and preferences of their respective communities.

The Valencia location, which opened its doors in December 2022, has quickly become a go-to spot for food enthusiasts. The Korean Corndogs reign supreme as the most popular item, closely followed by the flavorful chicken strips and hearty chicken sandwiches. Dayvid personally vouched for the sandwich, praising its balanced flavors and its ability to temper the heat for those with a milder palate.

During my visit, the friendly staff members exuded warmth and were eager to attend to my needs. However, the food experience itself left much to be desired. Opting for the “good” spice level, I found the burnin combo, comprising three strips with a side of french fries and toast, to be excessively salty rather than delightfully spicy. The breading on the chicken strips was disappointingly dry and disintegrating, making the eating experience more akin to handling a taco. Regrettably, my overall assessment of Burnin’ Mouth rests at a modest two and a half stars out of five, mainly due to the underwhelming dining experience.

Despite this, Burnin’ Mouth’s friendly atmosphere and diverse menu options might still appeal to those seeking a spicy adventure. While my personal experience might not have hit the mark, it’s important to note that tastes can vary, and many patrons might find their offerings more to their liking.

Whether you’re seeking a fiery feast or a milder culinary adventure, Burnin’ Mouth awaits with its array of flavors and attentive ambiance, ready to serve Valencia’s eager foodies.
