The first three competitions of the Hart Dance Team season were a success resulted in the team earning two awards against Saugus, West Ranch and Newbury Park High School. Hart Dance has also competed in Las Vegas against many different schools. 

The previous competitions took place January 21, February 4 and February 11, and the team is looking forward to one final competition March 10. In the upcoming competition, the team will face a variety of schools including Rancho Bernardo, Liberty and Pinecrest Academy Cadence.

As a team of three, competing is challenging. As team captain, Elizabeth Matchie ensures that the team’s routines are pristine. Students and parents are highly encouraged to come and show the dance team support during Hart Dance’s competition season.

In other news, the team’s Spring Show production is coming up April 15 as well as the time for team tryouts. Any students who want to join the Dance Team next year should be mindful that tryouts are coming up in May and there will be an informational meeting in April for those interested.
