The movie that lived. Twenty years later, the Harry Potter reunion takes place with many of the actors that we know and love returning to Hogwarts. Harry Potter: Return to Hogwarts was released January 1, New Year’s Day.

5/5

— Leisha Cuneta

The reunion is split into four different chapters, with a tribute to all of the cast members who have passed away. The movie is one hour and forty-five minutes long. It is available on HBO Max, along with the other eight original movies.

The actors talk about all their memories made during the sets and filming throughout the series. The actors also discuss their love for their fellow cast members and how over the years they had become a family rather than a cast. This reunion showed the actor’s backstories of the film and all the memories made.

I’d give this film a five out of five. I enjoyed this film because I enjoyed seeing all of the cast members back together again, how they showed different behind the scenes tapes that they had.

My favorite part would have to be the beginning of the reunion where a few of the cast members got their Hogwarts letters to return to Hogwarts. Especially when Emma Watson, Evanna Lynch, Oliver Phelps, James, Phelps, and Bonnie Wright appeared on the Hogwarts Express. Another thing that I loved about the reunion was when Emma Watson entered the great hall; her entrance took me back to when I was eight and I had just watched Harry Potter and the Sorcerer’s Stone for the first time. After watching the movie, I was hooked. I loved the movies so much; I remember having to ask my mom to watch the next one every single night until we finished the series. This reunion was a very nice thing to have after the eight amazing movies.
