Netflix’s Tiger King documentary is full of chaos

After the release of the Netflix documentary Tiger King: Murder, Mayhem and Madness on March 20, it instantly became the network’s most watched show in the U.S.

The documentary follows the staff of the Greater Wynnewood Exotic Animal Park, located in Oklahoma. The star of the show is the man that runs the whole operation, Joe Exotic. Joe Exotic is known for being a tiger and lion enthusiast and housing many of these large cats in his zoo.

What started out as a documentary detailing the crazy life of Joe Exotic,as well as his zoo and staff, turned into murder accusations, hitmen, death and many crimes commited.

I found the show very interesting. Joe Exotic is such a crazy character that I had a hard time believing that he’s a real person. Everything, from his haircut to his music, was absolutely crazy to me.

Even though I enjoyed Joe Exotic’s crazy behavior at first, I did not like him at all by the end of the show. The way he treated the animals in his zoo is absolutely absurd. He was also extremely rude to his staff, the people that supported him the most.

And even though Carole Baskin is a controversial person, I feel bad for her. All she wanted was for the lions and tigers to live the lives that they deserve, rather than being trapped in a zoo.

I hope there is a second season so we can all see how Joe Exotic has changed since being incarcerated. I also want to see how the zoo is running without him.

I recommend this show to anyone that likes drama and crime, and I would rate it a 4/5.
