After questioning students, teachers and staff members of Hart High School there’s no doubt that the majority had agreed that All I Want for Christmas Is You by Mariah Carey is the most annoying Christmas song. Second place being I Want a Hippopotamus for Christmas by Gayla Peevey and third place being Santa Claus Is Coming to Town by Mariah Carey. The second song to have the least amount of votes was All I Want for Christmas is My Two Front Teeth by Donald Yetter Gardner. The absolute lowest voted song was the Die Hard theme song with one person voting it as the most annoying. Students believe All I Want for Christmas is You is the most annoying Christmas song because it’s overused and gets repetitive easily. A common trend was students voting for All I Want for Christmas Is You as the most annoying Christmas song, while teachers and staff voted for songs such as, Jingle Bell Rock and Santa Claus Is Coming to Town.
