New ASB presidents start the year with fall activities

As the beginning of a new year starts here at Hart, so does the beginning of a new age of ASB leadership. Led by Senior Class Presidents Lucia Siebaldi and Malia Brauer, ASB is switching up the inner working dynamics to ensure a fun year that will excite the rest of the student population.

Cadence Walters, a senior in ASB and head of philanthropy, community outreach and clubs has said that this year’s senior leaders have changed the atmosphere. They are working together to learn from past leaders and further grow themselves into the examples they wish to be for the other members.

Currently, ASB is getting ready for football season and the upcoming blood drive later this semester.

ASB’s main goal this year is to get as many students involved as they can. In order to create the most positive environment possible, ASB has set listening to the students and making improvements as their first priority.

This mindset is leading them to extend current participation in big events like dances and games, or smaller things like spirit days, so that this year is as enjoyable and inclusive as it can be.

“New ideas come up every day, and while nothing is solidified yet, there are definitely things to look forward to this year,” Walters said.
