Video Game club here at Hart rocks on

While many clubs at Hart have a diehard following, one of the most committed clubs is Video Game Club.

Led by John Benedict Rombaoa and Javier Valencia, it is a small but dedicated club, focusing on the discussion and sharing information about all video games, new and old alike. Despite the level of commitment by the officers, Rombaoa said “I knew from day one that the club was starting to die down, and was going to end up dying for various reasons and to “hang up the controllers.”

This was due to the fact that the club focuses on the discussion of video games, rather than simply playing it. Valencia’s fix to this is to have some days where they do play video games as “people don’t want to go to a club and just sit there, so what better way to get people involved than games!”

If the club continues to exist next year, Rambaoa said “Since all the officers are seniors, I’m planning on throwing a tournament to decide the officers for next year if they want to revive the club next year and run it.” Despite the small following, the dedicated officers make the club a great place to hangout.
