Girls’ Tennis

Hart girls’ tennis has had a swinging season, with varsity going 17-6 and junior varsity going 9-3 so far. These teams have worked hard from their first game against Buckley to their regular season wrap-up October 19 against Canyon–winning with a whopping score of 17-1 for varsity and 18-0 junior varsity.

Ending their season on a high against Canyon with a clean sweep, 9-3 junior varsity is practicing and waiting for next season to improve on this superb year.

“It was just a really fun season; I had a really fun time playing. We had a pretty good season, but it was stressful to play against other people, because you never know how good the other team is going to be,” said Hart junior varsity member Catherine Holley.

Varsity finished up their regular season 17-6 overall with a 9-1 in league. Varsity  played at the Paseo Club for the Foothill League Prelims October 25 and 26. Sofia Ganshirt advanced to the singles semifinals, scoring a 3rd place. Em Porter and Mia Rodriguez advanced to the doubles semifinals, also scoring a 3rd place. Varsity is continuing on with their post-season in playoffs, with their next match Wednesday, November 1.
