Hart hosts its 2023 Winter Formal
Hart hosted its annual winter formal January 28 from 7 to 11 p.m. With the theme of masquerade, the gym was adorned with giant masks, a backdrop reminiscent of a ballroom and a chandelier hanging above the dancefloor. A pool table and air hockey table, as well as a photo booth, were also available for students to enjoy.
Each grade voted for their winter formal royalty in the weeks leading up to the event. At the rally the day prior, Andrew Barrios and Riley Longan were crowned freshman prince and princess, Zachary Press and Zuzu Darling for the sophomores and Russell Robes and Sienna Chang for the juniors.
The senior court included Isaac Kim, Maxx Merlo, Fabian Rodriguez, Nicholas Escalante and Sioeli Kongaikamanu Aliki as the king candidates, and Alexa Norona, Mya Lopez, Ella Del Hoyo, Isabella Shean and Riley Koebel for queen. Aliki and Koebel were declared winners of the election during the formal festivities.
