Red Cross Club offers service through humanitarian acts

The Hart High Red Cross Club is a community service organization whose goal is to help make the world and our community a better place. It creates a safe environment for teens and young adults to meet new peers and develop new leadership skills. They host various different activities centered around aiding the people and the environment of our community. They are a nationally recognized club that is known for their good deeds and participation in the growth of our society.

They currently meet every other Wednesday at 1:00 p.m.; their next meeting is taking place November 11. As of right now, they are planning on hosting a blood drive in December, where people can donate their blood for those in need. Their president is Azucena Carrillo and their vice president is Priscilla Cabrales. Their academic advisor is Mrs. Williams and can be reached at [email protected].

Hart Red Cross is part of the larger Red Cross organization. Red Cross is a humanitarian organization that provides emergency assistance and emergency preparedness education to all people. Their purpose is to bring help to those in need and to bring together people from different communities in order to create a more widespread message.

By being a member of Red Cross Club, you will get the chance to help the Earth and community as well as grow as a person. They are always looking for new members to join and it is a great place for potential community service hours.
