Should people return to work during the pandemic?

People should be extremely cautious to avoid getting COVID-19, and staying home is a great way to control the spread. However, this does not hide the fact that returning to work is necessary to get back on our feet.

COVID-19 is not something that should be taken lightly. It has killed people and infected more. So, is it wise to let people get back to work? Scientists say stay six feet apart and wear a mask in order to prevent the spread. That being said, there are things we can do to prevent potential danger presented by  this disease.

I think going to work is a good choice. People might deal with more problems if they don’t return to  their jobs in order to provide for their families, even if there’s a risk. Many are at risk of not having enough money to pay rent and therefore are at risk of not having a place to live. But, the survival rate for COVID-19 is very high. Health officials estimate that 99% of infected patients survive.

In any situation of life, there is never a zero chance you won’t get hurt. All jobs have risks. It is just that now we have one more problem that people need to handle for their loved ones’ benefit.
