For the new year, I am the same. The same as I am different. My eyes are still the same and probably my height, maybe my hair will grow and my body will still change but I am still me but new. In this new year, I will allow for change, but not change that will take away who I am because I am still the same. Change that seeks for an open mind, a new perspective. Makes me better as a human. Better as in good. Good, that doesn’t take away the bad but merely accepts it. Allows for mistakes but learns through them. This new year is mine. Mine to learn. Mine to grow.
