Hart Theater returns for another year full of musicals and fun. This year, the class is ran by Ms. Zakarian, who’s a first-year teacher here at Hart. Hart Theater has three different levels of classes: Theater 1, Theater 2 and Theater 3, ensuring anyone and everyone who wants to join has a class that fits their level of experience. 

Even though the school year started less than a month ago, Hart Theater is preparing for their upcoming fall musical, Mamma Mia. Everyone was allowed to try out for Mamma Mia, even if they are not in the theater classes themselves.  Auditions happened August 30, and the cast list has already been released. 

Hart theater provides students all the things they might need to succeed in life, from teamwork to understanding and accepting criticism and rejection. Theater has become a safe place for those who want to join the acting world, giving everyone a chance at doing something they love. 

To most in the program, theater is more than just an elective or extracurricular. Over the years, these students’ shared love of the arts has bonded them and created a family.
