Recipe of the issue: Protein Shakes!

Drinking protein powder in a shake is a really great way to get energy before a workout. If someone works out without the proper nutrients and protein they will not have needed energy to complete a hard day of exercise and will be prone to passing out during their workout. This tasty protein shake is a delicious way to get energy before a well needed exercise. It only takes seven ingredients and two minutes to complete this protein shake and it is totally worth it. 

 

Ingredients:

Two scoops of chocolate protein powder

One large banana 

Two tablespoons of peanut butter

One cup of spinach

One tablespoon of dark chocolate bits or powder 

One and a half cups of milk of choice

 

Add all ingredients to a blender but add milk last. Make sure that all the ingredients are well combined until the shake is a smooth consistency. Top with dark chocolate bits or whipped cream as desired. Enjoy!
