Recipe of the Issue: Pumpkin Bread
1 1/2 cup sugar
1/2 butter
2 eggs
1 cup pumpkin
1/3 cup water
1 3/4 cup flour
1/4 tsp baking powder
1 tsp baking soda
3/4 tsp salt
1/2 tsp cinnamon
1/4 tsp cloves
Cream sugar and butter. Add eggs. Add pumpkin and water; mix well. Add dry ingredients. Mix to moisten. Don’t over-beat. Pour in greased loaf pan about 2/3 full. Bake at 350° for 1 hour. For a large loaf, test with a toothpick
