Ingredients:

  • 5 cups of water
  • 10 tablespoons of Thai tea mix or brewed black tea leaves
  • 1 cup of sugar
  • 2-3 tablespoons of half-and-half
  • 2-3 tablespoons of honey
  • 2-3 tablespoons of brown sugar

Thai Iced Tea Directions:

  1. Add five cups of water (depending on how much tea you want to make) into a pot and heat the water until it is boiling hot.
  2. Add ten tablespoons of Thai tea mix or brewed black tea leaves into a cloth strainer and place it into the pot for at least 5 minutes.
  3. Next add one cup of sugar into the boiling tea (amount of sugar can vary depending on your taste).
  4. Let the tea set until it is cooled.
  5. Pour the tea into a cup with ice and add two to three tablespoons of half and half.

Boba Directions:

  1. Boil 8 cups of water in a pot.
  2. Pour in a bag of tapioca balls and be sure to stir frequently since the boba can stick together very easily. Let the boba simmer for 30-35 minutes.
  3. Next add 2-3 tablespoons of honey and brown sugar into the pot and stir.
  4. Once you finish stirring, turn off the stove, close the lid and let the boba sit for around an hour.
  5. After letting the boba sit for an hour, turn the heat back on and begin stirring once again.
  6. Next pour the boba into a strainer and wash it with warm water (this will help the boba become chewy)
  7. Pour the boba into a bowl and place the amount of boba you want into a cup and add the Thai Iced Tea
