Ingredients:

  • 1 1/2 pound lean hamburger
  • 2 pounds of potatoes
  • 2-3 cans of creamed corn
  • 1 1/2 cups of shredded cheese
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1/2 stick of butter

Directions:

  1. Preheat oven to 400°F
  2. Cook hamburger and season to taste
  3. Peel and boil potatoes then mash
  4. Mix mashed potatoes with 1/2 stick of butter and 1 cup of milk.
  5. Add layer of hamburger to baking pan and flatten on bottom
  6. Add creamed corn to the bottom and smooth
  7. Add layer of potatoes and smooth
  8. Add cheddar cheese to top
  9. Bake for approximately 25 minutes or until the top is golden brown.

*Optional: leave in fridge overnight to solidify and reheat later
