The Boys and Girls Club of Santa Clarita Valley hosted its fifteenth annual Festival of Trees November 16 through 19 at the Santa Clarita Sports Complex. The festival benefits the club’s operations annually by raising money toward its operational costs. The club serves nearly 1,500 youth, ages seven to seventeen, at the two facilities in Newhall and Canyon Country.

The weekend began with Holiday Hocus Pocus Friday, November 17. The event had a full hour of close-up magic acts, followed by a family-friendly, professional quality stage show featuring members of the International Brotherhood of Magicians, KIDabra SoCal and the Magic Castle.

On both Saturday and Sunday, families also had the opportunity to take pictures with Santa.

Saturday, the Magic of the Lights Gala featured live auction entertainment. The festival featured many beautiful and elaborately decorated trees which attendees of the event could purchase, and they also offered small tabletop trees, holiday wreaths, and gingerbread houses.

Singers, musicians, and dancers also flowed throughout the festival to entertain attendees. Additionally, the festival included a holiday boutique presented by Cottage Lane Festivals, which featured booths with handmade crafts, fashion jewelry and accessories, clothing, food, gifts and holiday decor.
