Hart Theatre will perform the play Fools by Neil Simon November 16 to 18 at the Hart High Auditorium. According to two of the program’s juniors, Christine Smith and Carter Sullivan, the show is something people won’t want to miss.

“The play is really entertaining, and anyone who sees it will not regret it!” said Smith.

“We have a lovely, vibrant cast. Brayden Smith, Lydia Botello, Eric Schultz, Olivia Hiner…You’ll come away from it having a lot of fun, and a deeper appreciation for curiosity, learning and all the magical things life has to offer!” said Sullivan.

Fools is about a teacher named Leon Tolchinsky who teaches in the town of Kulyenchikov. The town has been cursed for a thousand years, causing the inhabitants to have incurable ignorance and stupidity. The cast is extremely excited to present this play, as they have been rehearsing it relentlessly to perfect their performances.

“Rehearsals after school have been pretty fun! We are a great group and the play is so well cast that rehearsals are super fun to watch and to be a part of,” Smith said.

“I love rehearsals. Even after weeks of the same thing, I never ever tire of this play. I just can’t get enough of it,” Sullivan said.

Hart Theatre is looking forward to showing you what they have been working on, and hope to see you in the audience.
